A family owned and operated business

We are a family owned and operated business and proud to be one of the oldest companies to serve the Bitterroot Valley.

Since it’s initial opening in Hamilton, in 1902, our company has only had five owners. As native Montanans, and growing up in the Bitterroot, we care about the health and welfare of this community and the people we serve. As current owners, we have serviced the Bitterroot Valley’s laundry needs with passion and integrity for over 35 years.

Our History

1902

Hamilton Laundry was founded by the Erickson Family

1906

Charles Hartley started Hamilton's first steam laundry, Located on South 2nd Street and named it Bitter Root Steam Laundry.

1908

Hartley built a new two-story brick building on the corner of First and Main. (currently occupied by First Security Bank).

1946

Hartley sold the business to Glenn Mitchell for $15,300.

1953

Mitchell moved the laundry to 111 South 3rd Street.

1979

Mitchell sold the business to Mac Reynolds.

1982

Ron and Laura Ehli purchased the business from Reynolds.

1983

Ron and Laura Ehli purchased the business from Reynolds.

2000

Ron and Laura opened EASI Cleaners and Fast & Fluffy at 115 Pine Street.

2003-2006

Ron and Laura bought Value-Plus Warehouse, a 16,000 sq. ft. building and moved Bitter Root Laundry and Cleaners to its current location at 113 Foxfield Street.

2018

Stevensville and Salmon Clean Complexes - Fast Fluffy and Easy Cleaners locations added

2023

Fast & Fluffy added to Foxfield Street Hamilton Complex
